💡Did you know that when you change a Production Order Status, Business Central doesn’t just update the status value?
It inserts a new record with the new status and deletes the old one.
You can see this in the TransProdOrder procedure inside codeunit 5407 “Prod. Order Status Management”.
Why does this matter?
âś… To avoid errors when subscribing to Insert, Modify, or Delete on Production Orders. Extra logic on these triggers could cause errors or unexpected results.
