💡Did you know adding a new field to Sales tables, like Sales Header or Sales Invoice Header, is only part of the job?
If users use Copy Document, your custom field will be copied too.
That means you should always ask: • Should this value be copied? • Should it be cleared? • Should it be recalculated?
Why does this matter? ✅ Prevent invalid data in new documents ✅ Avoid unexpected process issues ✅ Keep copied documents clean and reliable
When you add a field, always think about Copy Document behaviour as well.
A small design decision now can prevent a lot of problems later.
