D365 Business Central: Why is my Job Queue Tasks Cue in Red?

Job Queue Tasks Cue in Red

Did you see the “Tasks in Queue” or “Tasks in Process” cue turn Red in Business Central? Don’t worry, it just means there are more than four tasks.

By default, the cue turns red when it displays more than four records. This is controlled by the “Threshold 2” and the “High Range Style” setting in the Cue Setup.

Want to change it?

You’ve got two options:

1) Access and edit it from the page.

Just keep in mind that this only affects your user.

2) Access and edit it directly from the table.

You can use a Configuration Package to update table 9701 Cue Setup.

Export the table to Excel, update the relevant records, then reimport and apply the Excel file.

That’s it. No more red cue unless you want it.
